Checking with the Seller Assistant extension
Step 1. Log in to your Seller Assistant.
Step 2. Go to the product you want to check.
Step 3. If in the notification panel of the Seller Assistant you will see a HazMat icon, this means that the product is HazMat.
Note
Seller Assistant checks products that have hazard attributes with Amazon's FBA inbound eligibility. The HazMat icon appears when Amazon confirms the product as dangerous goods. Products that Amazon is still reviewing are not marked as HazMat and use standard fees until Amazon decides. A new product can show the icon from its hazard attributes until the check finishes, which can take until the next time you open the product.
Checking with the Price List Analyzer tool
To perform a bulk check of products for HazMat, you can use the Price List Analyzer tool in your Seller Assistant cabinet.
Step 1. Upload a price list containing product codes and prices.
Step 2. Filter products by the presence of HazMat flag.
Note
HazMat flags and the related fees and profit can update after the price list finishes processing, when Amazon's answer arrives.
