What is Digital Services Fee?

Digital Services Fee (DSF) is a charge introduced by Amazon to offset costs related to Digital Services Tax (DST) imposed by countries like the UK, France, Italy, Spain, and Canada. Starting October 2024, DSF appears as a separate line item on seller invoices.

How is Digital Services Fee calculated

DSF is applied as a percentage of certain Amazon charges:

  • 2% for sellers registered in the UK

  • 3% for sellers in Canada, France, Italy, and Spain

In Seller Assistant it applies to:

  • Referral Fee

  • FBA and FBM Fee

There are other fees DSF should be applied to, as fixed closing fee and get-paid-faster fee. DSF does not apply to third-party services.

How to configure Digital Services Fee in the extension

You can manage DSF in your Seller Assistant account in the Extension Settings section.

When the store location is the UK of France you can click the checkbox "Apply to Selling on Amazon and FBA fees".

When the store location is Italy, Spain or Canada you can click the checkbox "Apply to Selling on Amazon fees".

DSF will be automatically included in the calculations in the Seller Assistant extension on the Amazon product page.
