If the MCP Server does not connect, or the assistant does not answer from your account, work through the checks below.
The MCP Server is not available during the free trial. It works on a paid subscription.
The client rejects the server URL
Use https://mcp.sellerassistant.app/mcp exactly. A trailing slash, a missing /mcp path, or the www domain will fail.
Also check that your client supports remote MCP servers. A client that can only run servers on your own computer cannot connect to it.
The sign-in window does not open
Allow pop-ups for the AI client, then remove the server and add it again. In a terminal client, copy the address it prints into your browser yourself.
You get an authorization error
Your session has expired, or you approved access with a different account. Remove the server from the client, add it again, and complete the sign-in.
Seller Assistant does not appear in the chat
Most clients read the list of available tools once, when they start. Restart the client after you finish signing in.
The answers are about the wrong team
Ask the assistant for your account context – it will tell you which team and marketplace it is working in. If it is the wrong one, switch the team in Seller Assistant and start a new chat rather than continuing the current one.
A price list or restriction check looks stuck
Price list analysis and restriction checks run in the background, and a large file takes several minutes. Ask for the status, or open the list in Seller Assistant. The assistant checks on its own and reports progress as it changes.
The assistant will not do something without asking first
Anything that writes or changes data – creating a purchase order, editing a strategy, setting costs, switching repricing on or off – is confirmed with you before it runs. That is intended.
The assistant cannot buy anything from a supplier. It can only draft a purchase order inside Seller Assistant for you to review.
Restriction checks or repricing are unavailable
Both need a connected Amazon seller account. The rest of the tools work without one.
Still stuck
Check that your account works in the web app first, then contact support with the name of the AI client you are using and what you asked for.
