Products without a clear brand name or logo are often marked as "Generic" or "Unknown". These listings could lead to issues with Amazon's regulations.
Checking with the Seller Assistant extension
Step 1. Log in to your Seller Assistant.
Step 2. Go to the Amazon Search page or Amazon Product page, and open the product you are interested in checking.
Step 3. If in the right-hand corner of the Seller Assistant Top Navigation Panel you will see a GB icon, this means that the product is Generic.
Moreover you are able to see if the product belong to "Generic" or "Unknown" brand in our Quick View feature.
Checking with the Price List Analyzer tool
To perform a bulk check of products for GB flag, you can use the Price List Analyzer tool in your Seller Assistant cabinet.
Step 1. Upload a price list containing product codes and prices.
Step 2. Filter products by the presence of Generic flag.
