Payouts in Profitability

How to read Profitability Payouts: Amazon settlements and bank deposits, and why payout is not period profit

Payouts is the cash view of Profitability. It follows Amazon's payout schedule: settlements and the deposits that reach your bank.

Note

Profitability is in Beta. Preview on Pro; access is guaranteed on Business / Business Plus.

[!NOTE] Payout is not period profit

A payout for Amazon's settlement window is not the same as net profit on Overview or on P&L in Profitability for those calendar dates. Compare payouts with bank deposits and Amazon settlement statements, not with monthly P&L profit.

For how profit is counted on Overview, see Profitability overview in Seller Assistant.

What you see

  • Settlements - Amazon's settlement periods and the amounts Amazon reports for them.

  • Bank deposits - the cash that left Amazon toward your bank, matched where Seller Assistant can match them.

Use the marketplace selector when your account has more than one marketplace. Payouts stay on Amazon's schedule for that authorization.

Do it with AI

Connect Seller Assistant MCP in Claude or ChatGPT (Business and higher), then ask:

  • "Show my latest Amazon payouts and settlements on amazon.com."

On Payouts, Works with AI at the top has ready prompts. A payout is cash for Amazon's period. It is not the same as P&L profit for those dates. More prompts: Prompts for Seller Assistant MCP.
