Repricer automatically adjusts your Amazon prices to compete for the Buy Box while protecting your margins. Instead of changing prices by hand, you assign a pricing strategy and safe price limits, and Repricer updates prices for you and reacts to competitor price changes on its own. It works with your Amazon listings.
Repricer is one of the tools in your Seller Assistant account. It has three sections:
Repricing – is where your products are listed and switched on or off
Strategies – is where you build the pricing rules
History – is where every price evaluation is recorded.
Which products appear in Repricer
You do not add products to Repricer by hand. Once your Amazon seller account is connected, your active listings appear here on their own, and the list keeps up with your Amazon catalog. Until a listing is reported as active by Amazon, it will not be in the table.
A product arrives with repricing switched off. Nothing is repriced until you switch it on, and the team owner has turned repricing on for the whole team. Two exceptions are worth knowing: if Automatically reprice new products is enabled, products you list from then on start repricing on their own; and a new SKU added to a product you already reprice follows its siblings.
Products and SKUs
Repricer works on two levels, and it is worth understanding the difference before you set anything up.
Product – is an ASIN. The strategy is assigned to the product, so it applies to every SKU under it.
SKU – is your individual offer. Its cost, its stock and its manual minimum and maximum prices belong to the SKU alone, and a SKU can be given its own strategy if it needs to behave differently.
This is why one product can show "Mixed" when only some of its SKUs are being repriced, and why the price limits shown for a product can be a range rather than a single figure.
What decides your price
Four things shape every price Repricer submits:
The strategy – decides how to price, which market price to follow and by how much to adjust it, with optional rules for specific situations.
Profit protection – set inside the strategy, decides how low the price may go. It is calculated for each SKU from that SKU's own costs and Amazon fees, so it moves when your costs move.
The SKU's manual minimum and maximum prices – are fixed safety rails. They stay in place when the strategy changes.
MAP – the minimum advertised price, is the boundary set for the product itself.
Repricer takes the price the strategy produces and keeps it inside those boundaries. Profit protection always has the last word: a price below the profit you required is never submitted.
How to use Repricer
Connect your Amazon seller account – your listings appear in Repricer as products.
Set up a product – open it and assign a strategy, then check its price limits and costs. Strategies live on their own page; see Strategies in Repricer.
Turn repricing on – the team owner enables repricing for the whole team, then you switch on the products you want to reprice. Only products that are "On" are repriced.
Monitor results, and use "Reprice now" to run a product immediately.
Who controls what
Some settings apply to everyone on the team, and some to a single product.
The team owner turns repricing on for the whole team, sets whether new products start repricing automatically, and sees how much of the plan allowance is used. While team repricing is off, no prices change, whatever the individual products are set to.
Everything else is per product: whether that product is repriced, which strategy it uses, its price limits and costs, and which team member owns it.
